So I'm from Chicago and I hate it. I love the city itself but I'm from the suburbs and the winters are dreadful (near siberian) and we get more cloudy/cold weather than nice warm summer days... I know California's economy is bad but that doesn't effect the Medical Field I hope. I'm planning on pursuing the medical field to become an RN or a Radiologist Technician (most likely a Radiologist Technician). I also have cousins that live in Walnut Creek, CA. What are the people like in California? I know there's a difference between Northern Californians and Southern Californians. I'm not particularly interested in San Francisco or L.A. But more of the desert near mountain areas country side California or suburban areas, that wouldn't be too far from a city. I'm a laid back guy and I am more conservative than liberal but I'm cool with everyone, I'm also pretty artistic too! So can someone tell me any areas like this? Country side near mountains desert areas that aren't too far from cities? Can you also tell me about the climate of that area and whats it like? (activities, scenery, expenses?)
